About the role

  • Work as part of a small team within Office of the Undersecretary of War (Research and Engineering) (OUSW(R&E))
  • Focus on understanding DoW space architectures, emerging capabilities, and technologies
  • Engage with priority space systems acquisition programs
  • Provide an independent analysis of program status, technological maturation, and risk areas
  • Support small-team efforts to analyze programs and characterize risk tied to program acquisition milestones
  • Effectively communicate program status, issues, risks, plans to executive leadership
  • Evaluate and understand the technology and engineering capabilities central to space programs
  • Work independently to become an expert on programs and technologies

Requirements

  • Master’s degree
  • 7 – 12 years in desired work areas
  • TS/SCI clearance; recent SAP work greatly desired
  • Experience and understanding of DoW acquisition programs
  • Test and Evaluation (T&E)
  • Digital engineering
  • Demonstrated experience using digital engineering tools and processes such as CAMEO, AFSIM, SYSML, and similar tools
