About the role
- Work as part of a small team within Office of the Undersecretary of War (Research and Engineering) (OUSW(R&E))
- Focus on understanding DoW space architectures, emerging capabilities, and technologies
- Engage with priority space systems acquisition programs
- Provide an independent analysis of program status, technological maturation, and risk areas
- Support small-team efforts to analyze programs and characterize risk tied to program acquisition milestones
- Effectively communicate program status, issues, risks, plans to executive leadership
- Evaluate and understand the technology and engineering capabilities central to space programs
- Work independently to become an expert on programs and technologies
Requirements
- Master’s degree
- 7 – 12 years in desired work areas
- TS/SCI clearance; recent SAP work greatly desired
- Experience and understanding of DoW acquisition programs
- Test and Evaluation (T&E)
- Digital engineering
- Demonstrated experience using digital engineering tools and processes such as CAMEO, AFSIM, SYSML, and similar tools
