About the role
- provide direct acquisition and contracting support to government customer’s Production Integrated Product Team (IPT)
- support the Production IPT Lead in contracting, cost analysis, contract modification tracking, proposal technical assessments, and other time-sensitive action items
- prepare purchase requests for small acquisition procurements and support larger acquisition efforts
- conduct detailed technical analysis of contractor proposals, coordinate evaluation activities, and draft detailed assessment reports
- develop and utilize cost models to establish government cost positions
Requirements
- active TOP SECRET clearance with SCI eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or an Engineering discipline
- minimum of 12 years relevant experience, or Master’s degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or Doctoral degree and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
- minimum of 5 years relevant experience supporting a DoD organization
- demonstrated working knowledge of DoD Directive 5000 series policies and Program Office acquisition responsibilities
