About the role
- Conducts research in design, development, testing and utilization of electronic data processing software
- Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions
- Conducts multidisciplinary research and collaborates with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers
- Determines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems
- Prepares operating instructions; designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems
- Ensures software standards are met
- Analyzes user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design
- Confers with systems analysts, engineers, programmers and others to design system
- Designs, develops and modifies software systems
- Coordinates software system installations and monitors equipment functioning
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
- 0-3 years of related work experience
- Active Secret clearance
- U.S. Citizenship
- 1 year experience in developing machine learning models
- Proficiency in languages such as Python, R, C++, or Java
- Experience in popular libraries and frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn
- Strong foundation in linear algebra, calculus, and statistical modeling
- Understanding of CI/CD, version control (Git), containerization (Docker), and infrastructure as code (IaC)
