Electrical Engineer

• Provide leadership and coordinate review efforts for verification and validation work related work efforts in the Electrical Engineering discipline
• Review design review comments submitted by junior engineers and advise decisionmakers on considerations for high impact and critical design review decisions
• Coordinate and lead review and adjudication of system design specifications, test requirements, Departures from Specification (DFS’s), Request for Waiver (RFW), Engineering Changes (EC’s)
• Lead effort to evaluate new or modified electronics on overall system performance
• Extensive knowledge of U.S. Navy Power Distribution Architecture
• Extensive Knowledge of USN, USCG, ABS and/or commercial ship design rules and regulations
• Provide mentorship to junior electrical engineers
