About the role
- Design, develop and evaluate operation of marine vessels, shipboard auxiliary systems and piping,
- review and develop technical data packages, provide oversight on development of machinery arrangements,
- conduct and oversee trade studies.
- Lead engineers in development efforts, coordinate with other functional areas to complete ship design.
- Knowledge of ABS, USN, and industry standards relating to shipboard auxiliary systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineer, Ocean Engineering or related field
- Active Secret Clearance
- U.S. Citizenship Required for the purposes of obtaining/holding a U.S. security clearance
- 6 years’ documented experience with design, optimization, and integration of marine auxiliary and piping systems,
- ship machinery integration, cargo handling systems, and weight handling systems calculations and analyses.
