About the role
- lead a team of engineers on research projects
- analyze project objectives and requirements
- provide support for project safety review process
- oversee day-to-day operations
- review project instructions to ascertain requirements
- create reports and other documentation
- conduct tests or studies of complete systems
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Physical Science (required)
- minimum of 10 years' experience in the aerospace field
- must be a U.S. citizen
- good understanding and application of Engineering principles and Systems Engineering processes
- able to work and lead efforts in a dynamic work environment
- must embrace safety principles
- able to manage and decompose requirements in specific technical areas
- strong communications and ability to work in a team environment
- experience in Avionics hardware systems, commercial and military data busses, software design, development and management, real-time systems, or system test and validation
