Perform analysis of detailed flow physics throughout all speed regimes, including but not limited to internal and external flows, aero-acoustics, shock wave and their interactions, near and far-field effects, real and high-temperature gas effects, and chemical reactions
Perform computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis to produce full aerodynamic configuration information and sufficient data to be incorporated in a six-degree-of-freedom (6-DOF) aircraft simulation
Perform CFD and other computational analyses in support of store separation analysis
Provide technical expertise with CFD codes such as CART3D and STAR-CCM+ as well as codes using lower-order modeling methods
Report results with informal memos, project documentation, and formal conference and NASA technical papers
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Physical Science and minimum 5-7 years' experience
Must be a US citizen
Must be able to work in a dynamic and multi-task work environment by prioritizing work and coordinating task/project schedules
Must be able to manage and decompose requirements in specific technical areas
