About the role
- Develop, document, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Perform manual and/or automated testing of software applications
- Identify, document, and track bugs or issues to resolution
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business teams to clarify requirements and expected outcomes
- Validate that fixes and enhancements meet requirements and do not introduce new issues (regression testing)
- Participate in requirement reviews to ensure testability and completeness
- Maintain test documentation and report on testing progress and results
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and production releases as needed
- Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of experience in software testing or QA
- Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Experience with test case creation and defect tracking tools (Azure DevOps)
- Working knowledge of common software architectures (web/mobile/API/DB)
- Attention to detail and ability to identify edge cases and work in complex pre-production environments
