About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop enterprise execution capabilities across a portfolio of initiatives, products, and programs
- Establish governance, standards, coaching, talent development, and continuous improvement practices
- Advance the organization's Agile transformation journey using Lean-Agile principles
- Lead and develop Release Train Engineers, Scrum Masters, and other execution-focused professionals
- Manage performance, coaching, succession planning, and capability development
- Lead and sustain enterprise Agile transformation efforts utilizing SAFe principles and practices
- Establish and improve execution governance, operating rhythms, metrics, and best practices across Agile, traditional, and hybrid environments
- Advise and coach leaders, teams, and stakeholders on execution practices, organizational agility, continuous improvement, and value delivery
- Build and mature Communities of Practice to develop execution capabilities and promote knowledge sharing
- Help teams apply Agile, predictive, hybrid, or flow-based practices to achieve business outcomes
- Partner with senior leaders to identify impediments, improve execution effectiveness, increase risk and dependency transparency, and enhance delivery performance
- Establish operating policies and procedures affecting departments and subordinate sections and work units
- Develop budgets, schedules, and performance standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 7 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience
- 5+ years of people leadership experience
- Current SAFe Practice Consultant (SPC) certification required
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Must work an East Coast schedule
- Up to 15% domestic travel required
- Deep expertise in SAFe principles, Lean-Agile leadership, value stream thinking, and organizational change management
- Strong coaching, facilitation, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills
- Ability to balance governance, agility, and execution discipline
- Delivery-agnostic mindset and experience working in transformation environments from waterfall to agile
- Ability to work on a team
- Ability to use a personal computer, applicable software, and office equipment for sustained periods
