About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the investment framework, adapting the framework to new ideas and/or changing concepts.
Track academic or technological advances in portfolio management and analysis tools.
Support investment analysis by tracking and analyzing macro-economic conditions and valuations of investment exposures across all asset classes.
Support portfolio construction involving design and risk analysis across individual strategies, sub-portfolios, and the overall portfolio.
Translate model results into specific transactions to be implemented.
Design and track performance drivers for strategies, sub-portfolios, and overall portfolios while searching for improvements to forecasts.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, economics, physics, math or a related field required.
Minimum 3 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.
Knowledge of applicable principles, concepts, practices, and standards.
Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Basic proficiency in the use of a personal computer, word-processing, spreadsheet applications, and database applications when applicable.
Ability to work on a team.
May travel and participate in meetings and conferences throughout the Red Cross system.
