About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Executing monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
- Preparing and reviewing journal entries
- Performing account reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Supporting GAAP compliance across APA and related entities
- Conducting financial analysis and generating reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Managing LLC accounting by reviewing workpapers prepared by external accountants
- Supporting audit activities and ensuring timely responses to requests
- Monitoring cash flow, identifying risks, and providing financial insights
- Evaluating and improving accounting processes and internal controls
- Collaborating across teams and assisting with financial statement preparation, budgeting, and documentation processing
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or equivalent experience
- 5–10 years of accounting experience with hands-on close responsibilities
- Extensive experience with reconciliations, journal entries, and account analysis
- Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and accrual accounting
- Excellent critical thinking and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Strong communication skills
- Proficiency with ERP systems and strong Excel skills
