About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as a senior scientific resource for SKE Program Associates
Provide expert guidance, methodological direction, and quality assurance
Write and edit summaries of scientific knowledge
Consult and collaborate with external scientific experts and researchers
Maintain and manage knowledge and expertise databases
Assist in providing scientific input, review, and editorial guidance for APA materials
Provide guidance, consultation, and training to staff as needed
Engage in a broad range of additional activities as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master’s Degree in psychology required
Ph.D. in psychology preferred
Broad understanding of the psychological science literature including multiple theories and methodologies
Knowledge of information gathering and research in the digital age
Ability to solve problems of substantial variety and complexity
Ability to operate independently and exercise judgment
Ability to work successfully in a team environment
Excellent communication skills
Advanced user of Microsoft Office, Internet and AI assisted search tools
Advanced user of Research Databases including PsycINFO
