About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Monitors program compliance with accreditation policy between periodic reviews
  • Conducts high quality reviews of psychology program compliance reports
  • Provides consultation on the Standards of Accreditation (SoA)
  • Serves as a key leader during CoA meetings
  • Composes detailed correspondence regarding accreditation decision outcome feedback
  • Operates with awareness of the confidential nature of accreditation information
  • Provides extensive technical support and troubleshooting through mastery of all relevant technical systems
  • Develops, maintains, and applies in-depth knowledge of accreditation standards, policies, and procedures
  • Provides direct support to the CoA during the Commission’s program review meetings

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, Liberal Arts, or a related field
  • 3+ years of general office experience that included decision making, critical thinking, and demonstration of good judgment
  • Excellent formal writing skills
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Experience with APA format
  • Strong analysis, communication, and organizational skills
  • Experience with database systems and customer service preferred
  • Knowledge of accreditation processes and services is preferred
  • Advanced in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook, Teams)
  • Must be able to operate effectively in online, database-driven environments
