About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provides disease specific management and working knowledge of oncology principles.
  • Manages chemotherapy and the side effects, and monitors and addresses symptoms.
  • Works with patients and families throughout the course of treatment.
  • Documents assessment and interventions in real time in the electronic medical record.
  • Collaborates with the oncologist and clinic staff to manage and coordinate patient care.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A graduate of an accredited RN Nursing program required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of oncology experience required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of overall nursing experience required.
  • Prior experience with customer service and professional phone etiquette required.
  • Attention to detail, excellent critical thinking skills, the ability to work independently in a work from home environment.
  • Good communication skills, data entry, knowledge of Excel, excellent computer skills.
  • Active RN license in state of employment, OCN preferred.
  • Current CPR certification required.
  • To Fort Myers area for yearly meeting.
