About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provides disease specific management and working knowledge of oncology principles.
Manages chemotherapy and the side effects, and monitors and addresses symptoms.
Works with patients and families throughout the course of treatment.
Documents assessment and interventions in real time in the electronic medical record.
Collaborates with the oncologist and clinic staff to manage and coordinate patient care.

Requirements

What you’ll need

A graduate of an accredited RN Nursing program required.
Minimum of two (2) years of oncology experience required.
Minimum of 5 years of overall nursing experience required.
Prior experience with customer service and professional phone etiquette required.
Attention to detail, excellent critical thinking skills, the ability to work independently in a work from home environment.
Good communication skills, data entry, knowledge of Excel, excellent computer skills.
Active RN license in state of employment, OCN preferred.
Current CPR certification required.
To Fort Myers area for yearly meeting.
