About the role
- Conduct outreach to at least 100 marketing clubs (via Instagram and email) to promote conversion to AMA Collegiate Chapters
- Build and maintain a prospect list of schools with existing marketing organizations
- Track outreach, responses, and conversions in a shared report
- Support the planning and execution of the inaugural Chapter Leaders Bootcamp
- Set up registration forms, Zoom links, post-event surveys, and attendance tracking
- Assist with speaker coordination and event logistics
- Recruit both professionals and students through targeted direct outreach
- Develop and manage outreach lists and track applications generated from recruitment efforts
- Identify and compile a vetted list of potential speakers for AMA Career Week and ICC
- Create and maintain a speaker prospect database
- Build a comprehensive list of all marketing competitions and participating schools
- Cross-reference competition participation with AMA collegiate community data to identify growth opportunities
- Review, edit, and improve collegiate mentor guides
- Support content updates for mentorship program materials
- Draft and develop a comprehensive Chapter Leader Handbook for student leaders
- Organize content, standardize formatting, and prepare for publication
- Audit chapter health reports to identify at-risk chapters
- Produce a summary report with insights and recommended follow-up actions
- Create reusable image templates for Chapter Leader Forums and collegiate communications
- Participate in Collegiate Team meetings, Department meetings, and AMA Town Halls
Requirements
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in marketing, communication, business, higher education, nonprofit management, or a related field
- Prior experience volunteering or being a member of a student or community-based organization.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently
- Ability to synthesize information, track progress, and document outcomes across multiple initiatives.
- Experience with Slack, Google Workplace, and conducting online research
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to engage with students, professionals, and internal stakeholders
- Collaborative, professional, and student-centered mindset.
