About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as primary day-to-day client contact
  • Manage client service needs
  • Present custom solutions to clients and prospects
  • Communicate client needs to the account management team and coordinate client services
  • Coordinate claims reviews, insurance training, kickoff meetings, stewardship meetings, and renewal strategy meetings
  • Analyze client risk profiles and develop marketing strategies with the team and client
  • Analyze client documents and recommend changes or amendments
  • Cultivate local carrier relationships in the construction insurance marketplace
  • Participate in off-site carrier, client, and prospect meetings as required
  • Conduct research and compile information into presentation format
  • Assist with training and overseeing Account Associates
  • Review, analyze, process, and follow up with clients regarding endorsements, certificates, policy audits, notices of cancellation, invoice collections, renewal materials, coverage quotes, proposals, premium finance agreements, claims reviews, fee agreements, premium allocations, and experience modification analysis
  • Bind insurance coverages, address binding subjectivities, and convert insurance proposals to summaries post binding
  • Conduct in-depth analyses of exposures, losses, premiums, rates, collateral, modifications, and deductible levels
  • Identify key individuals within client organizations and build sustainable relationships
  • Maintain ongoing communication with clients and industry partners
  • Provide backup for other team members during absences
  • Maintain insurance license and continuing education requirements
  • Perform additional responsibilities as required

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Applied Epic, Microsoft Office product suite, and Adobe Pro systems
  • Strong technical property and casualty knowledge
  • Typically 2 to 5 years of industry experience
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
  • Ability to travel as required
  • Maintain insurance license and continuing education requirements
