  • conduct legal research and draft coverage opinions on all lines of business
  • review knowledge articles and standard operating procedures for verification of compliance with state laws and regulations
  • answer claims related questions from staff and management

  • participate in Claims roundtables as a legal expert

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Previous Coverage Experience
  • Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service
  • Demonstrated experience preparing civil pleadings, motions and discovery and deposing witnesses
  • Demonstrated litigation experience
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of rules of Professional Responsibility for the jurisdiction in which they practice
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of tort, contract, and insurance law
  • Juris Doctor
