About the role
- Facilitate agile scrum ceremonies including but not limited to, Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Team Retrospective, Sprint Review and Backlog Refinement.
- Prepares team for PI Planning, assisting with team breakout sessions promoting alignment with broader Agile Release Train (ART) goals.
- Coaches team to higher level of maturity with predictable delivery at a sustainable pace.
- Facilitates team collaboration, decision making and conflict resolution.
- Serve as a servant leader, enabling teams to be self-organized, cross-functional, and effective in an Agile environment.
- Helps the team remove impediments and bottlenecks that interrupt the flow of services.
- Partners with Product Owners and Leaders on roadmap, providing techniques to effectively build and manage product backlog and to develop a release strategy that maximizes the value being delivered.
- Track and report on team metrics (e.g., velocity, sprint burndown, predictability) to drive continuous improvement and transparency.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging experimentation and learning from outcomes.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support, or service.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of IT product delivery, including experience in a Scrum Master role or related experience.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of Agile frameworks such as SAFe, Scrum and Kanban, principles and values.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of technology practices related to software development lifecycle and Infrastructure.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong facilitation and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to remove impediments, resolve conflict, and motivate team members.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of collaboration tools, such as Jira and Confluence.
