About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Enhance the competencies of individual employees by conducting training programs that boost employee's workplace performance
- Deliver curriculum and learning materials and manage all phases of training interventions
- Report to a Senior Manager in Talent Development
- Develop or oversee the production of instructional materials, aids and manuals
- Direct structured learning experiences and monitor their quality results
- Acclimate new hires to the business and conduct orientation sessions
- Deliver training courses and assess training effectiveness to ensure incorporation of taught skills and techniques into employees work behavior
- Periodically evaluate ongoing programs to ensure they reflect any changes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in the insurance domain--ideally with training experience
- Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service
- Demonstrated experience delivering or overseeing delivery of training through vendors
- Demonstrated verbal, written and social media communication skills which support culture and strategy
- Solid knowledge of instructional design models and assessment methods
- Demonstrated experience delivering curricula for all different learning environments (asynchronous and synchronous)
