About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead team members to analyze several sources of information and apply user-centered design principles to bring to life engaging and highly usable experiences.
- Collaborate with others to design and communicate an end solution that is on brand, visually impactful and meets both user and our needs.
- Own end-to-end user experience design for Choice.
- Design solutions to address identified funnel friction.
- Lead UX testing and validation of experience changes.
- Instruct and lead creation of low and high-fidelity prototypes used to communicate interaction design expectations to others or for testing purposes.
- Maintain an understanding of the brand identity standards to ensure recommendations are consistent with the corporate vision.
- Review and present user experience deliverables such as user flows diagrams, wireframes and user interface specifications.
- Review quality assurance defects and recommends prioritization of resolution to team.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Demonstrated experience planning, designing, and building complex web-sites and mobile experiences.
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of usability best practices, information architecture principles, interaction design concepts, user research methodologies and best-in-class design principles (Color theory, space, shape, alignment) for web and mobile application concepts.
- Demonstrated experience communicating concepts and rationale through storyboards, mood boards, visual design mockups, wireframes, user flows, user journey maps, information architecture diagrams.
- Demonstrated experience using design-thinking to solve problems and applying usability principles to recommended solutions.
- Demonstrated experience selecting and providing recommendations around proper typography for the web.
- Demonstrated experience selecting, creating and guiding visual content for the web (photos, advertising banners, video).
- Demonstrated experience creating interactive prototypes.
- Demonstrated experience analyzing diverse information sources in order to create a design solution and recommendations.
- Demonstrated experience organizing and managing work across multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated experience creating style guides, usability standards documentation.
- Solid knowledge of the latest design, accessibility, and development trends.
