💰 $88,000 - $145,000 per year
About the role
- Investigate origin and cause of high exposure claims by contacting appropriate parties
- Participate in High Damage Reviews (HDR) to address coverage issues and exposure
- Handle claims on a good faith basis, both 1st party and 3rd party under multiple policy types
- Conduct on-site inspections, evaluate damages and handle claim negotiations with insureds and others
- Provide all parties with claim process and status; answer questions or redirect to other areas
- Be a mentor and subject matter expert for less experienced adjusters.
Requirements
- 5 or more years’ experience handling field property personal lines claims required
- Advanced Xactimate experience required
- Prefer someone who has handled claims over $50,000
- Valid driver's license required plus an acceptable driving record
- Obtain state specific property casualty claims licensing as required
- Demonstrated ability to handle 1st and 3rd party, multi-line claims across our operating territories
- Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service
- Extensive knowledge of policies and endorsements coverages
- Successfully applied knowledge of each phase of the claim handling process.
