About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work with Distribution Team’s leadership to drive the air distribution strategy in EMEA and APAC countries.
- Partnering with Airlines to ensure strong collaboration on distribution matters, alignment on goals and enhancing the overall offering to joint customers.
- Work through content related issues and apply solutions as required to overcome challenges.
- Working closely with Product & Technology, Marketplace and Commercial teams to ensure alignment and progress on key goals.
- Developing and implementing new strategies to evolve and expand the content offered to customers utilizing new capabilities and technology as required.
- Develop commercial models to meet the evolving needs of the marketplace.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of experience in the Airline and/or travel distribution space.
- Ideally with good knowledge of NDC.
- Strong product and technology knowledge base to influence and lead product-related discussions.
- Strong relationship building skills and the ability to collaborate with colleagues and external partners.
- Ability to navigate a complex organization and find the right internal partner for each project.
- Strategic thinking skillset and ability to translate complex technical and business issues into clear, actionable insights for leadership.
- Experience of ‘future proofing’ within organizations.
- Strong negotiation skills to ensure optimum value for the organization.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Assess and understand financial impact of negotiations.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills, attention to detail and ability to deliver within deadlines.
- Cross cultural awareness.
- Thrive in diverse, multi-time zone environments with cultural adaptability.
- Long and successful previous experience on the management of business travel suppliers (such as airlines) is key.
