About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Create domestic and international travel arrangements for clients including air, hotel, rail, and ground transportation
- Ensure reservations are built according to client standards and preferences
- Act as a trusted advisor by offering informed and insightful recommendations
- Handle a wide range of bookings from simple to complex bookings
- Make changes or solve any issues that might occur during travel assignments
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3 or more years' experience working as a Travel Consultant (or 5 years in another customer service industry)
- Advanced knowledge of GDS (Sabre)
- U.S. citizenship required due to Federal Government contract
- A genuine passion for high-quality customer service
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong teamwork skills
- A positive, “can do” attitude
- Willingness to learn and grow
- Military experience/certifications accepted as a substitute for some requirements
