Responsible for setting and executing strategies for the optimization of air and ground transportation content through our traveler care and online distribution channels towards set goals
Work cross-functionally with multiple teams across our organization, for example with our revenue management – and product/ technology teams, to support new solutions
Influence key stakeholders within Amex GBT and in partner organizations to drive change and results
Deploy strategies, track results and take corrective actions where necessary
Set up tracking to gain insight in results and identify opportunities to further optimize
Requirements
Commercial mindset and strong innovator, driver of change, balancing technology solutions versus investment and revenue
Strategic and structural thinker: able to create strategies based on an analytical, data driven mentality but also feels comfortable in driving that into hands on implementation
A strong understanding of air and non-air content distribution, online retailing, channel management and travel economics would be a plus
Demonstrated experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and influencing people at all levels of the organization or at partner organizations, setting common goals and deliver according to plans
Feels comfortable utilizing Excel databases and doing analysis on data sets
Ability to develop a quick understanding of new industry trends and technology developments / opportunities
Excellent communication skills (written and oral), fluency in English & strong presentation skills
Excellent organizational and planning skills, able to manage multiple projects with different deliverables at the same time, has attention to detail and ability to deliver within deadlines and highlights deliverable issues and suggested solutions on time
