About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collaborate closely with the Executive Team to develop and execute innovative product designs that align with brand vision and market demand.
- Design full jewelry collections aligned with trends, target customer, and price point.
- Pair product assortments with cohesive packaging concepts
- Oversee and assist in preparing technical drawings of proposed product to be used for production
- Support research and development of seasonal trends and translate them into brand-appropriate jewelry collections.
- Create quarterly trend guides and style plans that reflect current and emerging fashion directions.
- Interpret design and style trends within pricing strategies and the production team’s technical capabilities.
- Design according to style plans, sales needs and emerging trends; ensure timely execution of product development calendar
- Create repeat patterns and graphic layouts for packaging and displays
- Photograph and organize catalog images from development through confirmation samples for internal and client use.
- Collaborate with Sales, Production, and Sourcing teams to ensure design execution is aligned across departments.
- Work with team on updating packaging designs for each season
- Generate recaps and presentations for internal sales meetings and external market appointments.
- Maintain a high level of creativity, precision, and efficiency while managing multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines.
- Take on additional projects and responsibilities as needed to support the department and broader company goals.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Jewelry Design, Fashion Design, or related field preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in jewelry design or accessory design.
- A portfolio showcasing creative and technical design abilities.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), Canva, and Microsoft Office.
- Experience with technical drawing, CAD rendering, and packaging design preferred.
- Previous experience in the jewelry industry strongly preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
