Senior Customer Design Technician Associate
American Electric PowerResponsible for entry level technical work at AEP, handling engineering design and operations. Ideal candidates will have relevant education and industry experience, assisting in various tasks as needed.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for performing entry level technical work and related activities associated with the planning, engineering, design, analysis, research, development, testing, construction, maintenance, and operation of Company equipment and facilities.
- Gains knowledge of standards, codes, and regulations relevant to area of assignment and assists employees in handling defined portions of routine problems when beneficial to AEP.
- Communicates effectively with internal and external customers and assists in the preparation of technical reports and papers.
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent plus 2 years of related utility industry work experience or an associate degree in Electrical/Electronic/Civil/Mechanical Engineering Technology or related fields.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Experience requirements vary by Technician level.
