About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate and implement all environmental activities and policies in the assigned region(s) to ensure compliance with environmental laws and regulations.
  • Assist and provide input to Environmental Services on the development of environmental policies.
  • Communicate deviations appropriately and provide training and assistance on environmental requirements.
  • Provide support in the event of a release or discharge of a regulated substance.
  • Promote and enforce safe work practices.
  • Support during environmental compliance reviews and site assessments.
  • Respond to public inquiries regarding environmental matters and maintain environmental documents in accordance with standards.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in environmental, science, or related discipline.
  • Minimum of eight years of environmental experience with an associate degree or six years of environmental experience with a bachelor’s degree.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Must be proficient in the competencies of various environmental programs including above-ground and underground storage tanks, hazardous waste management, spill prevention, stormwater management, and more.
  • Minimum of twelve years of environmental experience with an associate degree or ten years of environmental experience with a bachelor’s degree at higher tiers.
  • Minimum of sixteen years of environmental experience with an associate degree or fourteen years of environmental experience with a bachelor’s degree at consultant tier.
