About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Coordinate and implement all environmental activities and policies in the assigned region(s) to ensure compliance with environmental laws and regulations.
Assist and provide input to Environmental Services on the development of environmental policies.
Communicate deviations appropriately and provide training and assistance on environmental requirements.
Provide support in the event of a release or discharge of a regulated substance.
Promote and enforce safe work practices.
Support during environmental compliance reviews and site assessments.
Respond to public inquiries regarding environmental matters and maintain environmental documents in accordance with standards.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Associate or bachelor's degree in environmental, science, or related discipline.
Minimum of eight years of environmental experience with an associate degree or six years of environmental experience with a bachelor’s degree.
Valid driver’s license.
Must be proficient in the competencies of various environmental programs including above-ground and underground storage tanks, hazardous waste management, spill prevention, stormwater management, and more.
Minimum of twelve years of environmental experience with an associate degree or ten years of environmental experience with a bachelor’s degree at higher tiers.
Minimum of sixteen years of environmental experience with an associate degree or fourteen years of environmental experience with a bachelor’s degree at consultant tier.
