  • Provide complex technical support and training for computer Energy Management Systems or Supervisory Control & Data Acquisition systems.
  • Ensure reliable operations of EMS and SCADA systems, making recommendations for improvements.
  • Conduct complex troubleshooting and problem resolution across all areas of expertise.
  • Build and maintain custom online displays for EMS and SCADA systems.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications or related technical field; or high school diploma and two years related military or electric utility technical experience.
  • Strong skills in communication, issue resolution, organization, and facilitation.
  • Experience with SCADA systems preferred.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and provide after-hours support as necessary.
  • Begin to gain understanding of current technology utilized by AEP with Senior Level guidance.
