About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for performing highly technical estimates for Transmission line and substation projects in a safe, efficient and economical manner.
  • This position is responsible for complying with defined project scoping and estimating procedures; gathering and integrating estimate and cost information to build & update master estimating cost models and databases; developing criteria for estimation and use of project and portfolio contingency; and working with project stakeholders (i.e. project management, engineering, planning, construction, contractors, etc.) to develop, implement and continuously improve scoping and estimating processes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Project Management or related field of study PLUS a minimum of one (1) year of experience in engineering, design, estimating, project management, or construction execution.
  • OR Associate's Degree in a related field of study PLUS 3 years experience in engineering, design, project management, estimating, or construction execution.
  • Demonstrate effective leadership, team building and meeting management skills.
  • Demonstrate a high-level of confidence in the ability to lead a team and a project to successful conclusion.
  • Demonstrate outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with all stakeholders including team members, sponsors, management and senior management.
