Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in engineering in a program accredited by ABET
2+ years of related engineering experience for SG7
4+ years of related engineering experience for SG8
8+ years of related engineering experience for SG9
Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the US or Puerto Rico is preferred for SG9
Must obtain a certified Professional Engineering (PE) license if degree is in Engineering Technology.
Experience in configuration changes to the transmission grid and compliance with NERC standards.
