About the role
- Help shape the future of Energy Delivery as an experienced engineer with Distribution Power Analysis and/or Distributed Energy Resources (DERs) experience.
- Work with various teams to gather requirements for the ADMS Load Flow engine.
- Build and verify load profiles for planning and operational use within the ADMS.
- Identify and resolve gaps in AEP data and processes which could hinder the accuracy of the ADMS Load Flow engine.
- Test the accuracy of the ADMS Load Flow engine, and document all bugs/defects.
- Work with the ADMS vendor and System Integrator to resolve bug/defects.
- Document and Train others in the configuration of the ADMS Load Flow engine.
- Over time, work with ADMS vendor to improve product accuracy and functionality.
Requirements
- A degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
- Experience in Energy Management Systems, Distribution Management Systems, system reliability & grid operations, planning and modeling is a plus.
- Experience with Python, C++ and scripting languages is preferred.
