About the role
- Responsible for performing intermediate level engineering work activities.
- Technical expertise in the application of theory and analytical techniques.
- Coordinates work activities of others within the work group.
- Follows policies, practices, standards, and rules of the company.
- Provides training and guidance to lower-level employees.
- Resolves and initiates solutions to routine problems.
- Develops, reviews, or presents technical reports clearly and effectively.
- Maintains acceptable solution quality in support of Real-time system reliability.
Requirements
- A degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
- Experience in Energy Management Systems, Distribution Management Systems, system reliability & grid operations, planning and modeling is a plus.
- Experience with Python, C++ and scripting languages is preferred.
- Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in any U.S. state or Puerto Rico is encouraged and preferred.
- Preferably a degree in Electrical Engineering with Power System background/study.
