About the role

  • Manage RFP/SOW process when onboarding vendors
  • Manage and lead enterprise projects in support of your team and business colleagues.
  • Contribute to a scrum backlog and execute projects in a transparent and open communication approach.
  • Coach the team in using industry-standard Agile methodology and scrum practices and utilize best practices to help the team achieve customer satisfaction.
  • Facilitate and/or assist the IT Product Owner with the various scrum meetings e.g., daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo and sprint retrospective.
  • Assist the team to create/organize user stories and/or assist in testing to help them achieve the sprint goals.
  • Lead a project team to a successful, quality deliverable, by working collaboratively to identify the right solution based on customer needs.
  • Serve on multiple teams based on customer priorities and project needs, handling multiple responsibilities and roles simultaneously.
  • Be responsible for managing project budgets and continually evaluate project estimates.
  • Manage vendor relationships and expectations when projects require third party integration.
  • Assist in the determination of sprint expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel but always be willing to jump-in to clear impediments and roadblocks impacting your team.
  • Proactively communicate and manage expectations and deliverables.
  • Provide IT consultation and make project recommendations and decisions, by having discussions with stakeholders and scrum team members.
  • Collaborate across IT, to ensure the success of your projects and those of your colleagues.
  • Perform identified project management activities per the standards of the IT Project Management Office.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Proven Project Management, business requirements/process experience in both Agile and waterfall methodologies.
  • Strong working knowledge of enterprise software tools including JIRA, MS Project, Visio, SQL, and Microsoft O365.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment and is also independent, and self-directed towards a proactive solution approach.
  • Exceptional customer focus, time management, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with software development processes, system interactions, with an ability to navigate complex systems.
  • Proven experience coordinating or leading project initiatives
  • Experience leading delivery of large‑scale data collection systems, data warehousing, ETL processes, and business intelligence solutions.
  • A willingness, desire, and aptitude to learn new technologies.
  • A willingness to continually improve processes and share lessons learned.
  • Flexibility to adjust with shifting priorities and possess strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Working knowledge/experience of the scrum framework, scrum values, and scrum process.
  • Possess excellent conflict resolution, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
  • Scrum master certification, e.g. Scrum Alliance, PMI, or Scrum.org (preferred)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification (preferred)
  • Experience with Microsoft Project Online (MSPOL) (preferred)
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI (preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or business administration (preferred)
  • Experience with projects using .NET, SQL and MongoDB (preferred)
  • Some exposure or experience with Web Content Management Systems (CMS) such as Sitefinity and Sitecore (preferred)
  • Experience with Salesforce a plus (preferred)
