About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- directs initiatives to support the adoption and integration of navigation
- oversees data collection, develops data reports, leads program evaluation, identifies areas for program and process improvement
- builds and manages relationships with key partners, vendors, consultants, and other stakeholders to maximize program utilization, facilitating cross-department communication and collaboration
- provides guidance, coordination, and oversight to ensure the team functions effectively and remains aligned with program goals
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree with 8 years relevant experience acceptable
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating public health or patient care programs
- Minimum 3-5 years of people leader or supervisory experience
- Knowledge of the principles and practices of patient navigation
- Knowledge of cancer, cancer control, and cancer care delivery
- Knowledge of curriculum development and instructional design
- Knowledge of the operations and management of health systems
- Knowledge of program management and grants management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills
- Ability to set and meet deadlines and maintain schedules for deliverables related to multiple projects
- Ability to interact, collaborate, and effectively communicate across multiple projects and stakeholders to achieve departmental goals and priorities, operational efficiencies, and organizational impact
- Ability to conduct program evaluation, interpret data, and make data-driven programmatic decisions
- Ability to evaluate and prioritize new opportunities, set strategic goals, and determine the best allocation of resources to achieve organizational goals and optimize performance
- Ability to supervise and provide leadership to staff in multiple locations
- Ability to speak knowledgeably about the Society's mission, priorities, and cancer care delivery strategies in a wide variety of settings
