Key responsibilities & impact

Leads all aspects of the American Cancer Society’s Environmental, Health, and Safety programs and standards
Responsible for the successful delivery of all Water Management Plans and Indoor Air Quality Plans
Manages multiple EHS projects and budgets simultaneously
Oversees safety programs, emergency response planning, employee training, and incident investigations
Conducts regular safety audits, compliance reviews, and inspections
Collaborates with Legal/risk management, facility teams, contractors, and vendors

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Facilities Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related degree
10 years of experience
Knowledge of federal, state, and local codes and ordinances pertinent to water management and indoor air quality
Understanding of building systems including air quality, water management, lighting design, and acoustic engineering
Strong program/project management experience
Ability to coordinate quality assurance programs
Skill in working with internal and external partners
