About the role
- Assist with the maintenance and organization of the Lawmaker Profile Library
- Support updates to the Cancer Action Day Toolkit to ensure accuracy and usability for advocates
- Participate in and assist with planning sessions for state legislative campaigns
- Develop materials and resources aimed at increasing the effectiveness of legislative campaigns
- Collaborate with Senior Managers to provide operational support to state Grassroots Managers
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Familiarity with legislative or policy-related work is a plus
- Experience with Every Action and Quorum is preferred but not required
- Full-time student, completed freshman year of college
- Minimum of a B average (cumulative 3.0 on 4.0 scale)
- Plan to continue education in the following term/semester
