About the role
- Conduct all functions necessary to close the sale: make appointments, generate leads, conduct tours, maintain show rooms, and complete prospect follow-up.
- Give leasing tours, answer leasing phone calls, and process online inquiries; complete guest cards and enter data into Salesforce.
- Participate in orientation marketing, housing fairs, open houses, social media initiatives, and renewal marketing campaigns.
- Plan and execute social media strategies, create and publish content, and interact with resident communities and target audiences.
- Keep community clean by surveying common areas; report life safety hazards or maintenance concerns immediately.
- Become acquainted with residents and serve as a resource for residents and parents regarding the property and local university.
- Respond to and document resident behaviors that violate law or lease; enforce safety, emergency, and fire evacuation policies.
- Participate fully in Turn, Move-In, and Move-Out processes and make-ready activities (cleaning, painting, furniture assembly, light repairs).
- Work assigned administrative office shifts and Community Assistant On-Call shifts as scheduled; attend staff meetings and training; assist with recruitment and training of new staff.
Requirements
- A degree or certificate program must be in progress from an accredited college or university (Graduate, Bachelor's, or Associates degree or diploma in progress).
- Available to work regularly assigned office shifts and on-call shifts (evenings, weekdays, weekends, and/or holidays).
- Ability to participate in Turn, Move-In, and Move-Out processes (may include multiple consecutive days and extended hours).
- Experience or ability to give leasing tours, answer leasing phone calls, and process online inquiries.
- Ability to fully and accurately complete guest cards and enter prospective resident information into Salesforce leasing management system.
- Ability to plan and execute social media strategies and create/publish content across platforms.
- Strong customer service and communication skills; ability to mediate conflict and enforce community policies.
- Familiarity with general maintenance policies and ability to assist in after-hours maintenance emergencies.
- Willingness to participate in orientation marketing, housing fairs, open houses, and community events.
