About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provides clerical and administrative support to the Benefits section
- Handles complex employee benefits related issues including requests and inquiries
- Assists new employees with benefits enrollment and conducts orientation
- Ensures benefit plan vendors administer plans according to design
- Monitors vendor performance and resolves issues timely
- Develops and documents benefit plan processes
- Maintains accurate written benefit summaries and other documents
- Develops content for annual open enrollment and targeted communications
- Works with internal groups and vendors to support system testing and plan changes
- Participates in and/or leads special projects as assigned
- Maintains and administers US Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution plans
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field
- Five (5) to seven (7) years of previous related experience
- Strong technical knowledge of ERISA
- Strong analytical, written, presentation and project management skills
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Power Point required
- Experience with FusonHR or Oracle Advanced Benefits is a plus
- Obtain a working knowledge of the ABS Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental Management Systems.
- HIPPA certified along with other benefits-related training as deemed appropriate
- CEBS certification preferred
