About the role
- Work collaboratively with the learning development team to design and develop engaging learning solutions and communications within the project scope.
- Ability to build strong relationships with subject matter experts and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with a team of creative professionals to deliver assigned projects within the designated timeframe at a high level of quality.
- Develop and/or incorporate 2D or 3D animation, as appropriate.
- Design, create, modify, and deliver multimedia and web-based graphics, video, and audio elements.
- Recommend visual and audio format, approach, content, level, and medium to achieve desired results.
- Develop layout design and concept.
- Modify multimedia assets to achieve desired objectives and results.
- Ensure multimedia assets are developed on time and to standards.
- Assist with video and audio productions, collaborate with the team to determine composition and recommend overall design of media productions, and edit special effects.
- Stay up to date on new technologies, initiatives, and trends to provide ideas, guidance, and recommendations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Art, Animation, Instructional Technology Media, or equivalent experience
- A minimum of three years of hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Suite (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Animate) is critically required.
- One year of experience in audio and video production and editing (e.g., Pro Tools, Audition, Premier Pro, Audacity).
- Minimum of 2 years of adult learning design and development.
- Marine engineering or oil and gas experience preferred.
- Instructional design and project management for media technology solutions.
- Adult learning theory, project production processes, and media technology learning design.
