About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support editorial content development from topic selection to the preparation of accepted manuscripts for editing
- Proof content for distribution through print, online, and email channels
- Supports Continuing Medical Education (CME) accreditation and compliance requirements
- Perform a variety of administrative tasks, including updating editorial policies and procedures and managing shared email inboxes.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in journalism, English, or related area
- 2-4 years of work experience
- Exceptional command of English grammar and usage
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Knowledge of editorial standards, publishing processes, and medical terminology helpful
- Ability to work at a computer and proofread detailed and lengthy copy required.
