Vice President

• Lead identification and execution of collective action initiatives in the Aligning K12 Education and Youth Development issue area
• Manage 75+ member organizations and serve as point person for members, working directly with CEOs and executive teams
• Grow members and programming and lead recruitment and onboarding
• Lead renewal process to ensure high member retention
• Understand member needs through regular engagement and translate needs into programming
• Recruit partners and subject-matter experts for programming
• Plan and execute annual convening (logistics, agenda, facilitation, evaluation)
• Design, vet, and prioritize new collective action ideas with members and external experts
• Create concept papers, multi-year budgets, operating plans, and recruit strategic partners
• Lead fundraising for initiatives: identify funders, outreach, manage proposals and grant agreements, secure anchor funding, and steward funders
• Launch and manage 3-5 large-scale initiatives: staffing plans, hiring, program management, communications, iterative improvement
• Report progress to APA leadership, Alliance members, and funders; ensure initiatives achieve intended outcomes
