About the role
- Responsible for building our national footprint and generating revenue with assigned national accounts.
- Partner closely with institutional consignors to help them reach their business and sales objectives.
- Focus on establishing new relationships and expanding the company’s business volume.
- Constantly work to build and maintain strong institutional relationships as assigned.
- Collaborate with the Institutional team to execute the overall Institutional national account strategy.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with Auction General Managers and RVP regarding Auction needs.
- Deliver the highest level of customer service and exhibit a ‘hands-on’ approach with customers.
- Accurately track daily activities in a designated CRM tool.
- Drive the process and work independently to develop strategy, execute, build relationships, and lead initiatives.
- Be knowledgeable of the operations of an auto auction.
- Have current real-time relationships at a national level with Institutional Consignors.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree in marketing/sales/business desired.
- 5+ years of sales and customer service experience in the wholesale automotive field
- 5+ years of experience in large customer sales, preferably in National Accounts
- 5+ years of new business development experience
- Strong executive presence with the ability to deliver a polished message.
- Strong industry knowledge and understanding of current industry trends.
- Strong negotiation skills
- Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated leadership with proven record of leading and owning the process.
- Excellent people skills
- Strong knowledge on AutoIMS and ASI systems.
- Ability to travel 50%
