About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide oversight and leadership for administrative and technical management of construction projects delivering energy savings for government customers.
Partner with Engineering and Construction Team in project design and development.
Assure engineering, pre-construction and construction teams coordinate with vendors and subcontractors.
Provide ongoing project status updates to senior management throughout development and construction.
Evaluate technologies and equipment; recommend most suitable for each application.
Lead project implementation of site safety and health program, quality control program, operations and maintenance manuals, and training activities.
Manage project teams and resources, including expenditures and job cost accounting processes.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
Minimum of seven (7) years in construction management with at least (5) years working on federal projects or complex facility infrastructure construction.
Experience with several energy efficiency disciplines: direct digital energy controls systems, variable frequency drives, high efficiency motors, lighting retrofits, renewable energy technology, warranty and service requirements.
Proven experience with OSHA safety standards, mechanical and electrical systems development, engineering, and project management regulations.
Strong verbal, written, computer, technical communication and presentation skills.
Proficient computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Project.
Valid Drivers’ License in good standing, issued by resident state.
