About the role
- Perform systems studies, project engineering and project management duties related to gas distribution facilities.
- Develop and maintain a plan for future improvements and expansions of gas distribution systems.
- Develop engineering designs, cost estimates, and project management for gas distribution systems.
- Plan, design, budget, engineer, and manage gas construction projects related to reliability and essential maintenance.
- Provide technical support to various roles and ensure Gas Code Compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering (other engineering disciplines acceptable depending upon qualifications) from an accredited college or university required.
- E.I.T. (Engineer-in-Training) certification or P.E. (Professional Engineer) registration preferred.
- Gas transmission and/or distribution related engineering experience preferred.
- Project management experience preferred.
- Good problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and human relations skills required.
- Good analytical skills, mapping, drafting, and advanced computer skills required.
- Must be adaptable and flexible.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and also independently required.
- Subject to 24 hour emergency call out.
