Senior Civil/Structural Engineer
AmentumPrincipal Civil/Structural Engineer at Amentum managing civil and structural engineering design across UK facilities. Collaborating with a team to ensure safety, functionality, and business requirements are met.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Working in a team of highly experienced CS&A engineers and architects in the definition, implementation and delivery of specified functional works that achieves safety, functional and business requirements
- Delivery of the civil, structural Engineering Design, including reinforced concrete structures, plated steel structures, maritime structures and specialized Nuclear facilities
- Manage the interface to and between key Delivery Partners and the design team
- Develop deliverables list and format (drawings, specifications, reports, etc.)
Requirements
What you’ll need- Good, accredited MEng degree in Civil Engineering or similar
- Good all-round technical design expertise using British and international standards, and/or Eurocodes
- Background engineering experience demonstrating a record of successful delivery
- Experience of working within a regulated and quality assured system
