About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for preparing cost and price proposals of medium to high complexity utilizing principles of cost accounting standards and the Company’s Estimating System.
- Interfaces with Operations and Functional Support groups to obtain data necessary for developing prices or other components of a cost/price volume.
- Reviews data obtained and develops pricing models for medium to complex change order or modification proposals with minimal supervision.
- Ensures compliance with the estimating system manual as well as other policies and procedures.
- Perform quality assurance reviews to ensure that cost/price volume components are accurate and responsive to solicitation requirements.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 5-years of proposal pricing experience.
- Experience in developing Price Proposals that include Service Contract Act Wage Determinations, and Collective Bargaining Agreements associated with labor unions.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume proposal environment with quick turnaround requirements, while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Advanced Excel experience and mathematical skills.
- Must possess excellent analytical skills.
- Ability to evaluate and apply emerging technologies.
