About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for preparing cost and price proposals of medium to high complexity utilizing principles of cost accounting standards and the Company’s Estimating System.
Interfaces with Operations and Functional Support groups to obtain data necessary for developing prices or other components of a cost/price volume.
Reviews data obtained and develops pricing models for medium to complex change order or modification proposals with minimal supervision.
Ensures compliance with the estimating system manual as well as other policies and procedures.
Perform quality assurance reviews to ensure that cost/price volume components are accurate and responsive to solicitation requirements.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 5-years of proposal pricing experience.
Experience in developing Price Proposals that include Service Contract Act Wage Determinations, and Collective Bargaining Agreements associated with labor unions.
Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume proposal environment with quick turnaround requirements, while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Advanced Excel experience and mathematical skills.
Must possess excellent analytical skills.
Ability to evaluate and apply emerging technologies.
