About the role

  • Lead and support geophysical surveys using in-house survey equipment
  • Assist in the design of survey programmes to identify subsurface risks
  • Support the design of third party onshore and near-shore marine surveys
  • Utilise industry-standard software to process raw field data into actionable models
  • Assist with the interpretation of seismic datasets and conduct structural analysis
  • Manage field equipment maintenance and uphold strict Health & Safety standards on-site.

Requirements

  • A degree in Geophysics, Geology, or Civil Engineering (MSc preferred)
  • 2+ years in a commercial engineering or environmental geophysics environment
  • Proficiency in GIS (ArcGIS/QGIS) and geophysical processing software
  • Willingness to travel to remote sites across the UK and overseas when required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage time and priorities while working on several varied projects
  • Ability to autonomously develop critically thought-out solutions and bring work scopes to the team, including the ability to show/communicate critical thinking in assessing other solutions.
