About the role
- Overseeing and managing accounting functions and financial reporting for MWR operations
- Preparing and maintaining a comprehensive accounting calendar
- Generating and submitting financial reports in accordance with CNIC schedule requirements
- Preparing Uniform Funding Management Memorandum of Agreement (UFM MOA) billing
- Ensuring compliance with Navy guidance for all related accounting operations
- Handling revenue tracking, expense allocation, and other financial management activities
- Ensuring customer service excellence by participating in training equivalent to the Navy’s MWR Star Service
- Performing financial reconciliations, analyses, and audits for all MWR-related accounts
- Maintaining accurate and complete financial records and preparing reports for stakeholders
Requirements
- Relevant accounting or financial management experience in a leadership or senior accounting role
- Familiarity with accounting systems such as SAP, FoodTrak, Micros, and AIMS
- Proven experience in preparing financial reports and managing billing requirements in accordance with federal regulations
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or willingness to complete the required certification
- Understanding of customer service programs
- High school diploma or equivalent; advanced education in accounting, finance, or a related field is highly desirable
- Must be in possession of a valid passport and be able to travel internationally
- Ability to successfully pass contract medical requirements and maintain requirements for the duration of deployment
