About the role
- Overseeing all operations and activities at the marina
- Directing and coordinating all marina operations, including equipment rentals and recreational boating activities
- Acting as an instructor/trainer in small craft handling and serving as a basic sailing instructor
- Maintaining compliance with safety standards and ensuring adherence to safety protocols
- Developing and implementing programs to promote boating safety and enhance customer satisfaction
- Monitoring maintenance and inspections for all marina equipment and facilities
- Organizing and supervising training in small craft handling
- Conducting emergency response activities
- Providing excellent customer service and resolving patron inquiries
- Preparing reports and maintaining required documentation for all operations
- Supervising marina staff and ensuring operational success.
Requirements
- A minimum of five (5) years of satisfactory experience as a marina supervisor
- Certification or ability to obtain certification as: Instructor/Trainer in small craft handling (sail and power)
- Basic sailing instructor
- CPR, AED, and First Aid certified
- Strong customer service skills and communication abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent; higher education in a relevant field is desirable
- Must be in possession of a valid passport and able to travel internationally.
