About the role
- Installing and configuring the database environment
- Applying service packages, security updates and other enhancements
- Granting and revoking privileges to users and services
- Monitoring server, instance, and database performance
- Developing, scheduling and managing jobs for backups and integrity checks
- Recovering data using restored files or database backups
- Implementing security settings as required by CIS Benchmarks
- Providing Level II Help Desk support for software products
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, or acceptable STEM field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience
- Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization (US Citizenship required)
